Flynqy Pilot Training is a thriving ATO located in the heart of Cornwall, seeking fun and friendly flight instructors with a passion for teaching to join our dedicated and enthusiastic team!

Operating out of Cornwall Airport Newquay, our instructors enjoy the benefits of unrestricted airspace and incredible views whilst delivering high-quality LAPL and PPL training and flight experiences. In addition to ab initio training, our team is incredibly passionate about supporting licensed members, encouraging the maintenance and development of skills through our own CAA-endorsed PROUD (Pilot Recognition for Operational Upskilling and Development) Award and in-house advanced training opportunities and taster sessions.

Due to growing demand, we are currently seeking full and/or part-time restricted or unrestricted flight instructors, on a permanent or seasonal basis, to join our friendly and professional team in Newquay, Cornwall. Qualifications:

  • Instructors must be qualified to teach to at least PPL(A) standard.
  • Instructors must hold a current FI rating, SEP rating and appropriate medical for the license held and are responsible for maintaining the currency of these ratings.
  • Both unrestricted and restricted instructors will be considered for this vacancy.
  • The ability to bake cake and enjoy consuming cake and Cornish Pasties are highly desirable!

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver ab initio training for the Light Aircraft Pilot Licence and Private Pilot Licence in accordance with our approved training manuals to our growing student base.
  • Deliver engaging and informative ground school and theoretical knowledge training sessions to complement practical flight training.
  • Flynqy Pilot Training also conducts training for the IR(R) and Night Rating courses. Additional instructional hours may be offered to the successful candidate if you are suitably qualified / experienced to teach these additional courses.
  • Delivering bespoke training and mentorship to licence holders as part of our CAA-endorsed PROUD Award, fostering personal development and growth.
  • SEP currency and differences training in our club training fleet (C150/C152/PA28/Robin R3000).
  • Instructors will be required to teach in accordance with all aviation regulations and our approved training programme, maintaining accurate training records and promoting our high flight safety standards.
